Milsom Street Day Centre can be accessed on foot from Swindon Road and the Lower High Street but vehicular access is only available from the Lower High Street. If you park at the Brownhills Centre it is a 3 minute walk to Milsom Street Day Centre.

There is limited parking available at the front and back of Milsom Street Day Centre.

 

 

Summer 2010 Programme

For all Friday meetings tea/coffee and biscuits will be served from 7.30pm with the meeting proper starting at 8.00pm.

A £1.00 donation is normally requested at each meeting to cover costs.

Friday 23rd April Carriers to cassocks and beyond. A talk by a local curate about his personal journey through the past few years in his church faith/life.

Friday 28th May

"Religulous." A humorous documentary by American atheist and comic Bill Maher where he conducts a series of interviews with people from many different faiths.
Friday 25th June Talking Shop. An opportunity for members to bring up various matters of importance to them. For example, feedback from the Science Festival, views on Cotswold Humanist talks and activities, suggestions for future talks etc.
Friday 23rd July Humanism, Ethics and the BHA. A talk by Bob Churchill, Head of Membership and Promotion at the British Humanist Association with a background in marketing and communications and with philosphy as his University subject.
Friday 21st August Summer luch at 'The Royal Oak', Prestbury. If you are planning to go please let the secretary know on 01242 237346 by Monday 26th July.
Friday 24th September A guest speaker from the BHA Science Group. (To be confirmed)
