What is HUMANISM about?.

Humanism is an approach to life based on reason and our common humanity, recognising that moral values are properly founded on human nature and experience alone.  It is a tradition that has developed over thousands of years. The defining characteristics of a humanist are:
    • freedom from belief in gods, afterlife and the supernatural
    • the belief that we should try to live full and happy lives ourselves and, as part of this,
    • help to make it easier for other people to do the same.
